Clitheroe, North West England A great event organised by the local Fair Trade group was held at The Grand in Clitheroe. A Festive atmosphere created by carol singing from our local schools. The feast day of St Peter & St Paul is always a special day and it combined with the Carribean Pilgrimage to create a wonderful atmosphere – “When the Saints go Marching In“ made it a memorable day . First 5 square metres for the hostel are raised from this event thanks for your generosity.

Our Friendly Khmeerkats [Handcarved by Mr Thon of Banteay Prieb] wrapped up warm to cross the border into Yorkshire ready for the cold weather. All the sculptures were well received by the friendly folk of Skipton. -- more funds raised for KSHP
International days for persons with disabilities. This year’s theme: “Break Barriers, Open Doors: for an inclusive society and development for all”. It is a day when we focus on the minority in our world who are disabled.
At the historic Jesuit college of Stonyhurst in Lancashire. A great privilege to show the wonderful sculptures made by the disabled artisans from Jesuit run Banteay Prieb in Phnom Penh, New lines are well liked by the many visitors to the two day event . more funds raised for KSHP.
Bob gave a presentation after dinner, explaining the history of the struggles that continue to impact on the people of Cambodia. He gave an overview of the mission of the Jesuits and the success they have achieved with training the young disabled. The Dowry of Mary, Cambodia Craft was once again honoured and privileged to display the inspirational sculptures from the disabled workshops at Banteay Prieb and to have the opportunity to tell people of the need for education of the poor children in Cambodia and the wonderful work of the Jesuit Missions. 12,000 Tamils descend on Walsingham for their special day , great credit to the staff for organising this successful event , Thanks to Father Alan and Paul for the space again, we raised another few square metres!
